Do I need Claude Max?

No. These configs work with any Claude Code subscription. They are optimized for Claude Max ($200/month) but nothing requires it.

What format are the files?

Markdown (.md), shell scripts (.sh), Python (.py), and JSON — all readable in any text editor. You drop them into your project or home directory. No installer.

Do I need OpenClaw for L3/L4?

L3 references OpenClaw for cron scheduling (it is what the scripts were built with), but the patterns work with any cron runner. L4 references ClawDoctor (npm install -g clawdoctor) for monitoring — that package is free.

Can I use these with Cursor or Windsurf?

The CLAUDE.md templates work with any tool that reads project-level instruction files. The stop hook and run script are Claude Code CLI specific.
