Who checks the code my AI agent writes?
If you are not a developer, the agent’s summary is the only review your code gets. It says done. You have no way to know whether done means right.
Some founders hire a senior developer to look over the agent’s work before it ships. Most cannot justify a full-time hire for it.
We are setting up a standing review instead. It is not a product yet. We are doing it by hand for a first small group.
What we would set up
- Every pull request your coding agent opens gets a senior developer’s review within 24 hours.
- A short note in plain English on what could break and whether to merge. If the agent did something risky, the note says what to ask it to change.
- The risky ones (payments, logins, data deletion) flagged before they ship.
