Is my AI-built app safe to launch?
Your app works when you click through it. The question is what happens when a stranger signs up, or when a second customer logs in and can see the first one’s data.
People who fix AI-built apps for a living keep finding the same handful of problems: keys sitting in the code, security that only lives in the screen and not the database, one user able to read another user’s records, and no error tracking, so nobody hears about it until a customer emails.
We are setting up a check that answers this from your repository, not from the outside. It is not a product yet. We are doing it by hand for a first small group.
What we would set up
- Two test accounts, and a check that neither can read the other’s data.
- Keys and passwords in the repo, in its full history, and in the built front-end bundle that every visitor downloads. This is the one we find most often, so it goes first in the report.
- Database rules on every table (for example row-level security on Supabase).
- Payment failure webhooks, so a failed charge does not quietly keep the account open.
- Error tracking, sign-up email delivery, and a separate staging copy of the app.
- A plain pass or fail on each item, and what to fix first.
