Launch sprint · Live production client

An invite-only B2B marketplace.
Founder-built, taken to production in four weeks.

The client's product is an invite-only B2B marketplace where deals run five to six figures. The founder built the first version himself. We ran the launch sprint: security hardening, rate limiting, admin provisioning, payments, and the polish pass that made it shippable. It is live in production today.

The founder had already built something real: a working marketplace core with AI-assisted search and listing import. What he did not have was the last mile. Sign-in without rate limiting, no admin surface to run the business from, payment flows unfinished, and the hundred small gaps between "it works on my machine" and brokers moving five-figure deals through it.

That last mile is the engagement. A fixed-fee, four-phase sprint: security first (auth gates, rate limits on sign-in and sign-up, closed-signup enforcement), then abuse protection, then the admin suite (user invitations, impersonation for support, a dead-letter queue viewer with one-click retry, financials, data-quality tooling), then launch hardening and pixel-level design alignment.

What actually shipped

Blind bid and counteroffer negotiation threads with notification alerts; plain-English AI search over inventory; bulk spreadsheet listing import with AI column mapping and per-row error repair; billing with prepaid bid packs; dozens of background job functions handling valuations, market briefs, and buyer-intent matching; a full admin console; well over a hundred database migrations; 206 unit test files and a behavioral test suite. All of it live in production today.

Why this is the Continuum story

The founder got most of the way there on his own tools. Nothing about that work was wasted, the product vision, the domain logic, the UI direction all survived. What we sold was the last stretch that AI tools do not finish on their own: security, admin, payments, tests, and the judgment calls about what is safe to ship. That is the exact shape of the Ship Fix offer.

What this engagement proves
A founder-built app does not need a rewrite. It needs a last mile. Four weeks, fixed fee, and the marketplace went from working prototype to production system with real trades gated behind real security.
